Dr. Richard Dugas

Dr. Richard Dugas is a native of Attleboro, Mass. He received his B.S. Biology Degree at Boston College in 1957, and his DDS at Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1961. He received his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the District of Columbia General Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Dugas has practiced comprehensive dentistry for children, young adults and special needs for more than 40 years including fixed and functional orthodontic treatment. He is an active member of the following: American Dental Association, Mass. Dental Society, Cape Cod District Dental Society, American Society of Dentistry for Children-ASDC, International Association of Orthodontics-IAO, American Association of Functional Orthodontic -AAFO, and former lecturer for the New England section of the IAO as well as at the Yankee Dental Congress of the Mass. Dental Society. He is an active member of the Dentist’s Health and Wellness Committee (CDAD) of the Mass. Dental Society. He’s been involved with humanitarian efforts in Honduras and Bolivia.

Dr. Dugas lives in North Falmouth with his wife Judy and enjoys tennis, golf, bridge, skiing and boating while delighting in being surrounded by his 18 grandchildren.

Dr. Jeffrey J. Glavin

Dr. Jeffrey J. Glavin has practiced in Bourne since 1996. Dr. Glavin is a native of Brockton, Mass. He graduated from Stonehill College in 1981, and received his dental degree from Georgetown University in 1985. Dr. Glavin is affiliated with the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Cape Cod District Dental Society, New England Dental Society as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. He also belongs to the American Equilibration Society, a member of the Shamrock Study Club, alumni of the L.D. Pankey Institute and the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. Dr. Glavin is a certified Invisalign provider and a member of Cape Cod Dentists Care community service provider. Dr. Glavin has pursued advanced continuing education with particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, occlusion, the TMJ and implant dentistry. Dr. Glavin resides in Marion, Mass., with his wife Kristen and has three children. He enjoys fishing, camping, running and dentistry.

Dr. Lori J. Andres

Bourne Dental Associates Welcomes Dr. Loretta J. Andres DDS to our practice on Mondays.

Dr. Lori J. Andres graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in her home state of Michigan in 1987. She came to the Cape and worked for several years in both a general dental and periodontal office. Next she worked out of Bourne Dental for two years working alongside Dr. Dugas seeing many Otis families and treating the under served among the young and the elderly. After staying home for 3 1/2 years to be with her twins she returned to dentistry and has been working again on the Cape ever since, adding to her experience, working with implants and doing laser dentistry. She is a member of the District, Massachusetts and American Dental Association.

Dr. Andres lives in West Barnstable with her husband Neil and their two children. Outside of work finds her game side at her children’s sporting events, swimming, running and working in her yard.
